Kesaa is a coconut-based sulphate-free cleanser that gives a luxurious lather and weightless hydration to the hair. Aloe Vera and fenugreek (methi) extracts prevent hair loss & strengthen hair strands making it the ultimate remedy for all hair types and a must for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair.
An excellent plant-based ingredient, Witch hazel is added to remove the build-up of excess oils, sweat, products, and dirt. It also rebalances the hair growth cycle and promotes blood circulation in the scalp that results in new hair growth. The copper content of natural niacin rich mushrooms slows down premature greying. They replicate pharmaceutical DHT-blockers, and hence are a remedy for male pattern baldness.
Hair-strengthening herbs Hibiscus (Japapatti) and Brahmi cleanse the hair without stripping off its natural oils.

Is Kesaa effective for coarse, curly hair?Although suited for all hair types-from straight, dry, chemical-treated to curly-wavy hair, this nourishing shampoo is a must for coarse, curly hair. Kesaa is sulphate-free, uses coconut based cleansing agents, and hence is a boon for curly-wavy hair that need gentle yet thorough cleansing that does not strip off the hair’s natural moisture or weigh the curls down.
Is the shampoo safe to use for colour —treated hair?Yes. The Kesaa shampoo is absolutely devoid of any harsh surfactants or stripping ingredients and thus, safe for colour-treated hair.
Is the bottle recyclable?Yes, the bottle is 40% recyclable for now. However in near future, we intend to switch to bigger size refillable pouches that are 100% recyclable. Happy Hair, Happier Planet!
How often should I use Kesaa shampoo?Use it as many times in a week as needed to cleanse your hair. The shampoo is gentle enough to be used daily.
What else should I use before and after applying this shampoo?Ayurveda recommends always oiling your hair for a shinier, nourished, heavier mane. However to avoid attracting dust and oils from the environment, oil your hair for 1-4 hours before shampoo or leave it overnight. Shampoo as usual and post-shampoo, use a silicone free conditioner for extra dose of hydration and enhanced manageability.
